Silvia was a wonderful host and happy to help me choose what to do in Verona, where there’s plenty of choice. She also took care of my luggage, and the late checkout was much appreciated. Romeo Design Rooms made a lovely base for seeing the city on foot, especially for the opera. And those beds are the best! I wish I’d stayed two nights.

We only booked a few hours before arrival because we were going to the opera that evening. The host was helpful and accommodating, which made our short visit really enjoyable. The apartments were clean, smart, and had all the comforts we needed. The opera is literally a two-minute walk away, which was especially welcome at 1:30 am when it finished. I’d highly recommend these apartments.

The central location and the clean, modern place were good, but breakfast was ridiculous. You also need to let the staff know in advance when you’ll arrive, since they aren’t always there. For €100 a night, I expected a little more, though it was okay. Bed, yes, breakfast, not really.
