The restaurant across the street was nice and served us quickly, but I was unimpressed with the flat. We picked it for its character and the washing machine, which we needed midway through the holiday. I think we were given a different flat from the one shown on the booking site. The washing machine wasn’t there, and it had disappeared from the website too. There was just one toilet roll, peeling plaster in places, and half the bulbs were broken. The air conditioning was there, but we couldn’t turn it on.

The apartment was clean, spacious and laid out well, but it smelled of cigarettes even though it’s listed as nonsmoking. There was no heating, and those problems spoiled it for me.
