Getting into Verona was easy, with a bus stop a five-minute walk away. The villa has a pleasant charm and is well equipped, but it needs a deep clean and some renovation, especially the beds, which were quite uncomfortable. There weren't enough towels or enough private space for 20 guests. I'd recommend it for 16 people at most. At that price, I expected more.

We hope to make this an annual return. It was an ideal mix of sightseeing and relaxation, only 10 minutes from the town center. The pool was beautifully maintained and had a magnificent view of the hills, and the different outdoor areas gave us places to sit at different times of day. Even with a large group, the house felt comfortable rather than cramped. The old building's thick walls kept out the heat, with air conditioning available too, and the atmosphere felt much warmer than a hotel. The owners live next door and are happy to give advice, if you don't take that for granted. They kept antique furniture and paintings while tastefully updating the kitchens and bathrooms, so everything felt harmonious. A dream family holiday in a wonderful home.

The views of Verona are spectacular, and the owners gave us great advice. This ancient villa is full of charm and very clean, with everything you need. I highly recommend it.
