Vista Palazzo Verona

The room felt special thanks to the little details, especially the luxurious bedding, and it was spotless and comfortable. Everyone on the team went out of their way to make us feel welcome. This boutique hotel is a gem, with a great location and a stylish room. Everything was exceptional. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

I went to Vista Verona hoping to buy some Biologique Recherche products. I explained to the beauty manager that my skin is dry and that I needed a night cream. She suggested a few things, including Creme ADN Metamorfique, which I bought. But after using it, my skin is still dry, so the consultant didn't seem very experienced.

The special touches in the room and the parting gift made this feel much more memorable than an ordinary hotel. The location, room, food, and customer service were all outstanding. Wow, what a beautiful boutique. I'd definitely recommend it.

The hotel's reply to my review felt dismissive and didn't address the service problems I described. Most of those points weren't acknowledged, which doesn't reflect well on how they handle guest feedback. The photos look good, but the stay didn't deliver the level of execution I'd expect from an established luxury brand like Four Seasons or Rosewood. The room had several letdowns. The blackout blinds were too short to darken it fully, and the bathroom door creaked loudly enough to wake my partner. There were no dimmable lights, the Bluetooth speakers were awkward to use, outlets were few and badly placed, and there was no tea in the room. The tub tap first ran grey water, probably because the pipes hadn't been flushed. Towels, robes, slippers, toiletries, and even the bedding didn't feel premium. The toilet paper was surprisingly poor quality. Check-in was disorganized. Nobody acknowledged us when we arrived because staff were busy with a group. At a small hotel, checking in while seated in a lounge would have made more sense than crowding around the counter. I was seated, then someone called me over to the desk. It was a hilariously bad first impression. They asked whether we wanted a late checkout. We initially said no, but when we changed our minds, we were told it wasn't available. Apart from the main woman receptionist, Alessandro, who was excellent, the service was kind of hilariously bad. The bell staff, housekeeping turnover, male receptionist, and male bar host/server seemed undertrained and didn't have a genuine service mindset. We actually laughed out loud at how unfriendly and bad it was. I could give so many examples. It was such a contrast with our previous night in ortisei. The spa also wasn't being looked after proactively. The steam room was off until we asked for it, and the snack station wasn't properly stocked, with no spoons for the dried fruit and so on. These details matter at this tier. This isn't comparable to the FS. It's honestly shocking how poor the service was apart from the excellent female receptionist. The problems I mentioned could easily be fixed with minimal investment, so it's disappointing they were issues at all.
