The hosts were a huge part of what made this stay so special. Olivia and Giosuè made us feel at home, and Olivia was full of helpful ideas for outings and local things to buy, from wine and olive oil to cheese. Giosuè's enthusiasm for the area's produce came through in the meals. Breakfast included figs from their garden with local sheep's cheese, eggs from their chickens, homemade jams and marmalades, and their own hazelnuts. We also opted for dinner on our late first night, and those four courses of traditional Italian food were a real holiday highlight, beautifully made and so generous we nearly burst. The accommodation is a lovingly restored 18th century farmhouse on a family run farm, high on a hill with lovely valley views and a pool for hot days. It felt wonderfully quiet and rural, while still being an easy drive to Alba and nearby towns. The rolling hills, villages, and mountains were beautiful, and Olivia and Giosuè clearly love sharing their hospitality with guests.

Olivia and Giosuè were so warm and welcoming that we quickly felt at home. The meals they made were delicious, and they gave us really useful suggestions for places to visit. Our room was spotless, and the view across the Piemont hills made the location especially lovely. We had a very nice stay at La Luna Buona and would happily recommend it.

Breakfast and dinner were so good that we didn't feel any need to eat at a restaurant, and we felt spoiled the whole time. Olivia and Giosuè made us feel at home right from the start. The house has loads of charm, and our room was clean and outstanding. We'd definitely come back when we're in the area.

The homemade dinner for guests was the best food I've had outside, both for quality and value. Olivia and Giosuè were wonderful hosts, and you could feel how much heart they've put into the place and their work. A lovely, quiet stay surrounded by nature.
