Motel Giglio

The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was great, with a really big shower and steady hot water. I only stayed a short time, but feeling comfortable matters most. The property is nicely kept, too. The reception staff were unusually friendly and helpful, they deserve a lot of credit. I hope I can come back for a few more days.

Parking right in front of the room is so convenient. The rooms are modern, new, and comfortable, and the prices are reasonable. The staff were very kind and helpful. Thanks so much, see you soon 👋👋

It was extremely hot in the room because the air conditioning wasn't working. The window only opened a few centimeters, and reception told me there was nothing they could do. The bathroom has no window, and its fan doesn't work either. When I reported it, I was told the ventilation system doesn't have a fan. Shameful.

The location is quiet, and the entrance was clean and well kept despite the renovation work. The check-in staff were friendly and kind. It was my first stay in this sort of motel, but I didn't find it comfortable for my taste. The rooms are all on the ground floor, with parking directly outside the door, and although the room was spacious, cozy, and fairly clean, that setup left me feeling short on privacy. There's a large window beside the door with an electronic curtain, but I couldn't raise it without people seeing inside. The front door opens straight onto the parking lot, with no sidewalk or even a small awning between it and the asphalt. Being out in the countryside also means animals can get in if you're not careful opening and closing the door. The room had a TV by the bed and a reasonably stocked mini-fridge. The ceiling has wooden beams, the bathroom was fairly clean, the towels were soft and clean, and it was nice to have soap in both the bathroom and shower. The shower itself could use an update. Breakfast is an extra €5 per person, and the sweet and savory options were quite pleasant. I'm not a fan of the hotel personally, though it is the only more affordable choice in the area. There's plenty of headroom, so adding a bunk bed could make a family room for four.
