The location was perfect for our seven-day stay, close to the beach, good restaurants, and the train station. The room was okay, but a contact lens we found on the floor when we arrived was still there when we left a week later. We did get clean towels each day, and the beds were changed once. The staff could have been more polite. At times we felt ignored, and some seemed almost irritated when we asked questions.

I booked three nights starting 7 October. Eleven days before the stay, the hotel messaged me to say it was closing for emergency maintenance. Make of that what you will, but it doesn't look good, and I'm sure I'm not the only customer's plans that will be affected.

The room had a lovely view of the beach and was just the right size for one person, with a clean, comfortable, functional bathroom. There was good storage, a TV, air conditioning, and a small fridge. The hotel is lovely, though walking in initially feels like stepping back in time, with its traditional 80s vibe. The lobby has framed carnival posters spanning many decades up to the present day. Perfect location, fantastic holiday.

Great value for the price. The rooms are compact but clean, and the bathroom is comfortable. The bed is large, with a firm but comfortable mattress. Breakfast is included, simple but fine, and the service is excellent. There's city parking in front of the building, though it's paid blue-line parking.

It's a nice little hotel with friendly staff. Our room was clean and comfortable. The area is fun, right across from the Promenade and lots of beach clubs.
