Hotel Tirrenia

We booked Hotel Tirrenia at the last minute for Carnival's closing weekend after a cancellation opened up, without researching it because nearly everything was full. Taking that chance worked out so well. The location is great, only a few steps from the beach, and we'll definitely return. Our room was clean and comfortable, with soft, peaceful lighting instead of those harsh white lights. It also had lovely French doors opening onto a balcony. The owners clearly care about the place: there were beautiful, well-kept plants throughout, and the hotel looked recently renovated, with no chipped furniture or scuffed walls.

Breakfast was great, and the bed was comfortable, though a little short. The location near the beach was excellent, and the room itself was good, but the shower felt cramped. We had power problems one night, and the AC sometimes stopped for reasons we couldn't figure out. Several times I was woken early by the cleaning staff talking loudly and cleaning noisily outside our room. That was much too early.

The staff were so helpful, especially on our last day. With a late flight, they let us leave our bags and use a bathroom to shower after the beach. The beach is just two minutes away, and the location is very convenient. They also gave us beach towels every day. We were very happy with the room, which felt airy and had a pleasant balcony and a nicely renovated bathroom. Breakfast was good each day, and the coffee was excellent. The staff were attentive throughout. I'd recommend staying here, and I'd happily come back.

Breakfast was amazing, with something to suit everyone, and the staff were helpful at all times. The hotel was beautifully clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Having a fridge in the room was especially useful for keeping beer and water cold in the hot weather. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely visit again.
