The hosts were welcoming and easy to reach, and breakfast had plenty of choices. Our six-person suite felt huge, with a high ceiling that gave it a luxurious feel. It had three bedrooms, including one with a two-person bathtub, two bathrooms, a kitchen, a balcony, and even a sauna room, though we didn't try that. Outside, there was a big pool with loungers, a jacuzzi, swings, and a slide. Stunning!

We found plenty of restaurants and bars just a short walk away by the lake. The rooms were clean, and reception was really friendly. It was a perfect stop on our road trip from the UK down into Italy. Would recommend.

The staff were very friendly, and both the evening dinners and breakfasts were good. We were here with Just Go Holidays for a food and wine tour of Piedmont. Viverone sits on a steep slope, and from the top of the village there are amazing views to the west. The hotel itself has beautiful views too. I'd stay at Hotel Royal again!

The lakefront restaurant we were sent to had no tables available, so we were left in a real mess. The hotel bar and restaurant were closed because they were hosting a wedding, and the staff made us feel unwanted, like an inconvenience. We were walking the Via Francigena and Camino Ways booked us into this hotel. The description said it overlooked the lake, but our room faced a wall instead. We had high expectations, and that was a disappointing start.

A large, airy, warm room and friendly staff. The location was excellent, and breakfast had a homemade omelette along with plenty of other choices.
