At "Il Mirto" in Viareggio, the pets are welcome, and it's a pleasant Bed & Breakfast. The room and bathroom were nice and clean. It's around 15-20 minutes on foot from the center, the bathing establishments, and the free beach. My one small letdown was the sheets and pillows. They were clean, but I didn't find them very comfortable. That's just my personal opinion.

Elena deserves five stars. The service is better than expected, and the price matches the quality. Sure, a few things could be improved, but that's life. There's free parking in front of the apartment. The room and kitchen were clean, the bed was comfortable, and Elena is always ready to help. Breakfast was simple but nice. Thank you.

The price felt high for what we got, though I understand it was Carnival. What we stayed in was a vacation rental split into two rooms, rather than a B&B. Neither room had its own bathroom. Ours was downstairs, while the other bathroom was beside its room, and this arrangement wasn't clearly explained. Breakfast was sparse and the products were low quality. The place also wasn't very clean.

We've been coming for three years, in summer for the sea and beautiful beach, and in winter for the carnival and its magical, spectacular masks. The staff are so friendly, especially the one-of-a-kind, brilliant woman who makes you feel at home even when you're away. B&B Il Mirto Unico is unforgettable ❤️

We paid for two nights, but left after the first. The room was freezing, dusty-smelling, and far too dirty, with stains on the pillows and sheets. After we'd spent a day at the hospital, they hadn't even made the bed when we returned. I felt scammed. Breakfast cost 10 euros for two items from Eurospin. If a place can't keep things clean, it shouldn't offer hospitality. I'd give it zero stars, or even minus one if I could. Avoid it.
