The owners made us feel welcome right away, even leaving the children a little welcome gift: a coloring book about Carnevale di Viareggio. They also held our bags when our train arrived early, so we could get on with the holiday without stress. We loved being able to open the bedroom window and see the sea just a few steps away. With children aged 7 and 10, having the beach so close was a lifesaver. No loading up the car or dealing with traffic, just the sea and carnival. The promenade was a three-minute walk, and we liked taking an evening stroll there before dinner. Our “molo” room was spacious, with a nice clean bathroom and warm air conditioning. The Wi-Fi worked well with three devices connected, so the kids could watch cartoons in the evening. Since it was room only, we could plan each day freely. We picked up croissants and pastries at the bar downstairs, or from a great bakery 50 meters away, and ate in the room or on the beach. The owners also gave us a list of good, reasonably priced places for lunch and dinner. We found trattorias we wouldn't have discovered on our own. We'd just come home from a week at Casa sul Molo and already miss the sea breeze and the owners' kindness!

A few steps take you to the sea and promenade, and everything is very convenient. We've been coming to Viareggio for years for the carnival, and our favorite is the simple first-floor room with a large en-suite bathroom, inverter air conditioning, TV, and refrigerator. The owners are so kind and helpful, and they welcome four-legged friends too. For a carefree few days in Viareggio, I'd recommend it. What more could you ask for? The location is excellent, just steps from the seafront and the carnival, and the owner was very kind and helpful. Our room was very spacious. The bathroom is outside the room, but it's right beside the exit, so that wasn't an issue. Some general upkeep and maintenance are needed.

That huge bathroom and the super comfortable bed make it easy to feel at home here. The house on the pier has become our second home by the sea, and Giusy and Giuseppe are so kind.
