The room was filthy, with hair in the fridge, shower tray and cabinet under the sink. The shower was very large but dirty too. The hotel is close to the train station, so it's not a quiet place. The elevator was cluttered with things and didn't work, which made getting heavy suitcases up even one floor impractical. Unless you pay extra for breakfast, they don't leave coffee pods, tea bags or even cutlery. I'm not complaining about the breakfast itself, but the cleanliness was unacceptable given the very high price for one night. The bed was queen-size, but there were no proper pillows, just two square sofa cushions and two rectangular foam ones thinner than a yoga mat. We slept badly. I wouldn't recommend it for the location, price or cleanliness.

The entrance lock takes a strong pull before it opens, and the nearby train station means there is some noise. The room itself is spacious and very nice. The bed worked well for me alone, though it could feel a little small for two. A few things kept coming up each day: no bathrobes or slippers, a saw-like sound from the bathroom, and a sink that drained slowly because it was often clogged. Even so, I had a satisfactory stay and would consider coming back in the hope those issues are fixed.

We barely slept, with the train passing all night and the bedding being awful: chair cushions to sleep on and pillows as thin as scarves. The room was filthy, with lint all over. For what we paid, there wasn't even cutlery or spoons for breakfast. I wouldn't recommend it.

You can watch the fireworks on the beach from the room, and the seafront is about 21-22 minutes away. The room has air conditioning, a bathroom with a bidet, and a small terrace. It suits one person, or two at most, for a stay of a couple of days. Dogs are welcome.

They took the money and cancelled my reservation over missing documents, even though I had sent them. I consider it unprofessional to request documents in advance by email or WhatsApp without specific forms, especially given privacy laws. There are proper procedures for people who can't check in, but this wasn't one of them. This happened despite my booking through Booking. BEWARE!
