Gabriella and Rutger were lovely, knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive. Breakfast was plentiful and lovely, with the best cappuccino in Viareggio made to order and delicious cakes baked by Gabriella. We plan to come back next year. The villa is beautiful and stylish, and our large room had high ceilings and lovely furniture. The bathroom was huge and modern, and there was so much thoughtful storage in both. The location was perfect for the beach, shops, bars, restaurants, the train station, and Pineta di Ponente. Best accommodation we’ve had in many years of travelling to Italy.

We came to Viareggio for the first time, a family of seven hoping for a relaxing seaside break, and every day at Villa Giulia felt like home away from home. Gabriella and Rutger, along with their extended family, including Galileo the cat (pictured), made our short stay wonderful. They created a lovely atmosphere, with immaculate rooms, outstanding service, and above all the warmest hospitality. We hope to return to Viareggio soon and stay at Villa Giulia again!

The location was peaceful in the evenings but still just a short walk from the beach, shops, and restaurants. We loved breakfast each day, with fresh pastries, fruit, coffee, and more, served with care in a charming, cozy setting. We stayed at Villa Giulia last year with our daughter, a family of three, and it was a wonderful experience. The hosts welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home right away, and their genuine hospitality made a real difference. The rooms were beautiful, elegant, spotless, and thoughtfully decorated. Everything felt fresh and comfortable, and the house had a calm, relaxing atmosphere. We're grateful for the warm hosting and memorable stay. Highly recommended!

Gabriella and Rutger were so warm and keen to do whatever they could to make our vacation enjoyable. My wife and I stayed five nights at this beautiful villa this June. The service was great, everything was clean, and breakfast was delicious. Thanks for having us, Jóhann and Ingilaug.
