I Grappoli Divini

We were so taken with the place that we nearly considered booking all three rooms with friends. After arriving in the afternoon and settling into the beautiful Bacco room, we spent time by the pool while our dog played in the garden with the other dogs. Our hosts brought us coffee and fresh fruit, then finished with a lovely aperitif. Such a charming atmosphere, and they were exceptionally welcoming and courteous. There’s handy private parking outside, and the pool has a resistance band if you want to exercise. Each room has its own character. Margherita and Mauro’s family run the B&B so thoughtfully, and they’re always glad to recommend places to see and local restaurants. The flower-filled, well-kept entrance gives you a sense of the special welcome to come. We’ll definitely return.

The breakfasts were generous and authentic, and that amazing cappuccino served in grandma’s old-fashioned cups was a little trip back in time. There’s also a pool where you can exercise with resistance bands. The place is tucked into the hills, with elegance and care in all the details, and it makes a great base for cultural and food excursions. Margherita and Mauro were so friendly and the service was impeccable. What a lovely surprise. Thanks for having us, we’ll be back soon!

The town, up in the Monferrato hills, makes a good base for visiting nearby medieval villages and castles. The apartment itself was spacious, clean, and very nice for a family. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bedroom opened onto the pool.
