It’s a pleasant hotel for a short stay, though it feels like it’s in the middle of nowhere. The staff were very friendly. The bald gentleman at reception who checked me in, whose name I can’t remember, was professional, kind, efficient, and made us feel welcome.

The hotel has a bar and restaurant, a small gym, and six floors. My room had a fridge and minibar, a deep bath and shower, a bidet, wooden floors and cabinets, and plenty of space. There’s marble flooring throughout the rest of the hotel. It’s easy to find and get to from the highway, right by a gas station and a mini-Costco store called Cash and Carry, which also takes credit cards. The staff were professional and helpful.

It’s on a busy street, which puts restaurants and stores close by. The reception staff are really nice. Highly recommended.

The front desk staff were terrific and really helpful, especially with arranging taxis, and the rooms themselves are modern and clean. Getting into downtown on foot isn’t easy since the hotel is just past the traffic circle. Service elsewhere was disappointing, partly because a few tour groups were staying there, though that wasn’t the whole reason. I tried several times to eat at the restaurant, but was told there was no room even when it was half empty. To get a drink at the bar, I had to go find someone. Several people in our group said their rooms smelled of fried food. I’d rather stay somewhere a bit dated, like SHG, with a better location, more walkable streets, and a wider choice of restaurants.
