CHEZ LA REINE .....un'idea di CHALET IN CITTA'

We got good value for what we paid. The welcome was excellent, and the place had everything we needed. For a road trip, the parking is convenient, the center is within walking distance, and it’s quiet.

Cristina was wonderful and did everything she could to make our visit enjoyable. The apartment was lovely and comfortable, and the city center was just a ten-minute walk away. Five stars, plus an extra S for “Super.”

My wife and I felt at home at Chez la Reine. I travel for work and have stayed in B&Bs and hotels around Italy for years, but this apartment stood out for its warm, lived-in feel. The rooms are beautiful, with comfortable furnishings and gentle lighting, rather than the bare, cold look common in short-term rentals. It was spotless, too. There were thoughtful touches everywhere: a small balcony with an ashtray for smokers, a showerhead that worked perfectly without limescale, cotton buds in the bathroom, and chilled purified water in both still and sparkling versions. We could also put together a simple breakfast, with juice, jams, Nutella, toast, biscuits, coffee, tea, yogurt, and cereal.

We keep coming back to Chez la Reine for our long weekends in Vicenza, and Cristina has never let us down. The apartment is lovely, tastefully furnished, and has everything we need. It’s close to the fairgrounds and a large supermarket, and the air conditioning really helps during the hot months. If we’re heading to Vicenza, we already know where we’ll stay.
