You can’t visit the inside. Casa Cogollo, also called the “Palladio house,” was designed by Andrea Palladio for notary Pietro Cogollo around 1560-1570, though Palladio never lived there. Its three-level façade has a Serlian window on the ground floor, framed by Ionic columns, with a Victory on each side of the arch. Above are two side windows and two Corinthian columns around a central square that once had a fresco by Gian Antonio Fasolo. The third floor is plain, apart from traces of a fresco between its two windows.

Casa Cogollo sits at the end of Corso Palladio, tucked between two neighboring buildings, and is privately owned today. It dates from the mid-1500s. Here are a few photos.

Built in 1559 for a notary, Casa Cogollo stands on Corso Palladio and is attributed to Andrea Palladio. It’s often called Palladio’s house, but it was never the Vicenza-born architect’s home.
