Finding the B&B was the tricky part: Google Maps shows the wrong location. Follow the main road toward Montechiaro di Vico Equense, not Via Abbazia. Pass Villa Clermont and the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie, then look for a small square with a bus stop and a steep hill. The B&B is just at the top, on the left. Once there, we could cook easily thanks to the well-equipped kitchen and two small supermarkets within walking distance, so we didn’t have to go out for dinner. Breakfast was plentiful, with homemade jams and oven-baked croissants that were especially popular, as well as packaged items. Antonietta and her husband were attentive and gave us all the directions we asked for. Our room looked across the Gulf of Naples toward Mount Vesuvius. The evenings brought a marvelous light show, and in the morning the sun sparkled on the water.

Breakfast is served on a terrace with a great view of majestic Vesuvius. It’s excellent and made with local produce, actually less than zero, since it’s growing right there among you, tended by Antonietta herself. Her big smile and warm welcome capture the hospitality, friendliness and professionalism you hope to find on the AMALFI COAST. The splendid B&B sits among the typical lemon groves and lush greenery, just a few minutes from world-famous Sorrento. Careful, one visit and you’ll be hooked! See you soon, Antoniè!!! Good morning!
