Hotiday Vico Equense Beach

I really enjoyed staying here. The hotel is in a charming area, within walking distance of the beach, and the rooftop has an amazing view. Andrea at reception was wonderful and very helpful, with great suggestions for things to do around town.

We spent a week here in July, my husband, my sister and me. The staff made us feel very welcome and were always ready to help, whether with information, money-saving tips or planning days out. The hotel itself is peaceful and relaxing, and the rooftop bar has lovely views for a cocktail. The small pool area was spotless and pleasant. Our rooms were on the small side but perfectly adequate, and came back clean each day with fresh bedding and towels. It was nice to return after sightseeing. Food was the one weaker point. We enjoyed three meals, especially the steak and tuna, but the rest were less impressive. I’d have liked to see dishes like bolognese, pizza or risotto on the menu. Breakfast was fine, though a bit dull, and the menu could use a refresh. Eden Bleu, thanks for looking after us. Based on our stay, I’d ignore the moaners.

We really liked the location, and the staff were warm and accommodating. The rooms felt modern and were clean. There’s a pool too, which was a real bonus for us with family. Upstairs, the bar and restaurant have great views and good food.

We’d consider coming back. The staff were very accommodating, and the hotel has a beautifully styled interior, a good bed and a very nice breakfast. A fridge in the room would have made it even better. You’ll want a car for getting around, although the staff drove us to the train station a couple of times. The other route into town is a stairway with 200 not very good steps, which shouldn’t be an issue if you’re young and fit.
