This remote, historic property is a preserved gem, with lovely grounds and plenty of parking. The rooms were very clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The food was gourmet, made with the property's finest ingredients. Owner Antonio was friendly and available whenever we needed him, and the staff were wonderful, especially server Clementina. Just be ready to get around on foot, as the historic grounds have plenty of levels and steps. Highly recommend.

We were after an affordable place for dinner, and our AirBnB host pointed us to Il Casale del Golfo. It was exactly right: very good food at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended if you're nearby and looking for the same kind of place.

We booked at the last minute and were welcomed warmly. The room was pleasant, the sunset view was great, and there was parking on site. Thanks for making us feel welcome!

A really great experience. The food was good, the service was excellent, and the views were spectacular.

The views are amazing, and the prices feel more than fair. We didn't stay overnight, but ate here several times. The food was incredible, made from scratch with ingredients grown on the grounds or sourced locally. The staff were attentive and personable.
