Breakfast on the terrace with that sea view is priceless. The rooms are kept in meticulous condition and are extremely clean. Ermanno and Patrizia pay close attention to what tourists need. I’d recommend them!

The view from sunset 🌇 through to dawn 🌅 is unmistakable and lovely. That spectacle makes paying for a night seem like very little. Breakfast brought back the flavors of my MOTHER, hers just as much and still, the. Emotions.

I’m sorry to leave a negative review, but it wouldn’t be honest to say otherwise. The room was really dirty, with hair and dust on the floor that swirled around once the air conditioner was on. There were cobwebs in the closet and corners, and the outside area wasn’t looked after. Breakfast wasn’t good either. I’ve had better at lower room rates. It feels like the business had more passion in previous years, and that’s what seemed to be missing now. Owner, please forgive me.

The only real drawback for us was the phone and Wi-Fi reception, which didn’t work very well. Villa Makkale is green and has a sea view, and the surroundings are relaxing. It’s a bit far from the Vieste seafront, though easy to reach by car. The rooms are cute and clean, with slightly vintage furnishings. The very friendly owners serve breakfast at the table, and Rocco, the B&B’s mascot dog, keeps you company. A lovely choice for couples or families with kids.
