Camping Village Spiaggia Lunga

The Collina area was the highlight for us. It sits on a hill, feels private, and the bungalows are a good size, shaded by pine trees. We could hear crickets all the time, which was lovely. Getting to the beach on foot was fine, about a relaxed 10-15 minute walk, and the shuttle buses between Collina and the lower part were excellent. The lower area felt too crowded, especially during those Corona times. Since the campsite is so big, they could have left some spaces between tents and caravans. The beaches were nice and not crowded when we visited in early August. The Gargano peninsula has lots to see, including Vieste, le grotte marine, and Tremiti islands, as well as beautiful beaches and good food. There’s a small beach shop with everything you need, plus a fruit seller who comes each afternoon with very good fruit at good prices. The pools and entertainment were nice too. Cleaning could be better. Our shower cabin and kitchen plates weren’t very clean. Also, don’t leave food or sweets in the kitchen, or you may end up with ants. Overall, it’s a beautiful place to stay, and I’d visit again.
