Hotel Lido

We spent four days and three nights here, and it was awful. We're usually easy to please, but this was too much. The hotel was noisy: the woman upstairs, in a unit that wasn't part of the hotel, walked around in heels at night and dragged chairs all night long. We could also hear people talking and showering next door. The room was small and nothing like what we'd expected for the price. The bed was very hard and the pillows extremely flat. There was no refrigerator, no balcony, and the view was just another apartment or hotel. Housekeeping came in without permission because there was no card to put out to say we didn't want the room cleaned. The listing said there was parking at the hotel, but there wasn't. Street parking cost 7 euros per day, and there was hardly ever a space. Wi-Fi didn't work for the first two days. They blamed a storm, but had also given us the wrong password. We won't return, which is a shame because Viëste itself is beautiful.
