The only real plus was having the sea right in front of us. Even then, we had to carry the lounge chairs and umbrella down to the beach and back every day. That was the only service offered, and in my opinion it was half-hearted. The owner didn’t respond, and explained away the problems by pointing to a modest price. But €650 plus €30 for linen for a week didn’t feel modest. The apartment was small and run-down, more like a beach hut. Cooking and showering were awkward because there was no counter space, and a folding door separated the bathroom from the bedroom. At night, a sewer smell came up. We had to eat outside on the tiny balcony, with no privacy, trying to manage a little table and a drying rack with nowhere to put it. When it rained, we were stuck; even with the awning, the wind blew rain in, so we had to go swimming. The wardrobe had no hangers, the drying rack had no pegs, and there was no TV. Fixtures were outdated, there were only a few pieces of cutlery, and the taps were old and worn with limescale.

The kids were thrilled, and with the bungalow so close to the shore, we could head back whenever we wanted. It’s about 20 steps to the beach, which was fabulous, though all that sand and salt does take its toll on things and the terrace gets covered every day. We had a lovely terrace for meals and made good use of the barbecue. The place is simple but has what you need for a calm holiday: a kitchenette, clean bedroom and bathroom, and working air conditioning. We were told the free beach service includes two loungers and an umbrella, which are put away in the evening. Linen is available on request, but we brought our own. There’s also free private parking, and we never found the gate closed, so coming and going was easy. Mrs. Rosina was smart, friendly, and there whenever we needed something. We’ve been here since Monday, July 14th, as a family of four with two small children. The bungalow is by the sea in a breezy spot, so you can fall asleep to the waves. My husband is nearly two meters tall, and the shower felt a bit small for him. Otherwise I’ve no complaints. I think I’ll come back, since having the beach right there is hard to beat. We came for three nights and found it really handy, with the sea only a short stroll away. The rooms were clean, the bathroom basic, and there were always loungers and umbrellas available. It’s a good fit if all you want is to unwind, though anyone looking for luxury at a reasonable price may find it too simple. We had a great stay and would come back.

The beach entrance is run-down and seems dangerous for children, and the vending machine outside keeps your change, with no staff around to ask about it. There isn’t a restaurant either, the space is being used to store loungers and umbrellas. Inside, the rooms are bare and have old furniture. The ceiling fan was dirty, and its pull cord was above the mattress. The photos don’t match what’s shown on the website. Highly not recommended.
