Quintessenza - Charme Rooms

My favorite part of our stay in Vieste with my two 8 year old daughters was Quintessenza. I could slow down in this contemporary boutique hotel, both sophisticated and simple, with a minimalist feel and a stunning 360 degree view of all Vieste, the sea, and the castle. The location was perfect, everything was very clean, and the rooms were beautifully decorated. Breakfast on the rooftop was my best memory: a generous spread with a sea view, sweet and savory local specialties, and the option to tailor it to our needs. I asked for blueberries and whole grain bread. Vanessa, the owner, and her husband made all that care possible. They were kind and patient, and the satisfaction of their guests clearly matters deeply to them. The personal attention was impeccable throughout. When we left, they drove me to the bus station. Later I realized I'd left my sunglasses at the seaside, and they went to get them and mailed them to me. They didn't owe me any of that, and I don't take it for granted. I appreciated each thoughtful, generous gesture. Quintessenza was a real vacation for me. Grazie Vanessa!

After a long trip from Milan, we parked the car and then forgot about driving, since we could reach everything on foot. The Quintessenza is in central Vieste, just steps from the old town and about a five-minute walk from Pizzomunno beach. Vanessa welcomed guests each morning on her large terrace, where breakfast comes with a breathtaking view of the sea, lighthouse, and castle. Later in the afternoon, the sunsets are stunning. The rooms are clean and thoughtfully designed, with interiors that suit the white stone colors of the city. It's mesmerizing. We came looking for peace and quiet after the long lockdown, and found open space and Vanessa and Alessandro's smiles. Thank you so much!

We'd definitely stay here again if we return to Vieste. It's a lovely little place with just four rooms, a beautiful rooftop terrace, and a private, secure parking spot for a small fee. The owner does everything to make you feel at home. Breakfast was really good and varied from day to day.

The rooftop is amazing, and the room was lovely and comfortable. Our host was so kind and helpful. We had a very good stay and would recommend it!
