The beach is one of the reasons we'd return to Cala Molinella without hesitation. It's vast, surrounded by nature, tidy and never crowded, with crystal-clear water and its own charm at every hour, from sunrise to sunset. We stayed there last summer, and over time the place quietly settled into our hearts. The atmosphere is welcoming and carefully looked after, with genuine touches throughout, from the shared spaces to the friendliness of the property managers. The slower pace makes it easy to get away from everyday hustle and bustle. We'd recommend Cala Molinella to anyone looking for authentic Puglia, with its simplicity and beauty, and to people who want to enjoy the sea respectfully and quietly. It's also ideal for a couple who wants to slow down, share precious moments and take home lasting memories. You arrive feeling like a welcome guest, not just a customer. This place stays in your memory, and once you've found it, you'll want to keep it close.
Vieste is about a 15-minute drive away, and Peschici, which we liked best, is around 20 minutes away. The spot works well if you want to explore the Gargano area. The grounds look tidy, the shared spaces are cared for, and the newer pool makes a nice first impression. The rooms feel dated throughout. The furniture, finishes, and amenities don't match the sophisticated resort image the property seems to aim for. Staff were professional, though distant and inflexible. We hoped for a friendlier welcome and were taken aback by how detached they seemed. Check-out was set at 9:00 a.m., which I've never encountered before, and when we asked for a few extra minutes, they refused without discussion. The beach is roughly a 15-minute walk away, with a golf cart shuttle that runs only until a certain time. I can't remember exactly when it stops. This could suit a family holiday, but for us the value for money and the gap between the resort image and actual service left a negative impression.
Dinner at Cala Molinella was delicious, and my husband and I both loved it. The place has a pool tucked into nature, and the beach is only a five-minute walk away. It's also very close to the center of Vieste. It feels like a peaceful little village where things become more familiar each day. A lovely place to step away from city noise and spend some proper time together, whether you're a couple, a family, or a group of friends.
At the village there's a pool, a boat, and a treehouse, and the little beach is charming. The kids can roam around on their own, play, and make special friends. We also enjoy relaxing to good music and spending time by the beautiful sea. Our holiday at Cala Molinella is ending again this year. The welcome here is something special, and to us the Silvestris feel like family.
