Vacanze Villa Carla

Such a beautiful place!

We had a villa for a week, from August 9th to 16th. The property is a little dated, but pretty and well maintained, set on a hill among greenery about 1 km from the beach. The villas, whether one bedroom or two, have what you need, and you can ask if something’s missing. Breakfast is served on the veranda at reception. There aren’t set hours, since the manager gives guests the main gate keys. The owner, "Decio*," was exceptionally kind and helpful from the beginning, even when I booked over the phone. We brought our dachshund, and some villas, ours included, have a fenced outdoor space where a dog can roam freely. It was a great stay, and Vieste is truly beautiful and worth visiting. Thanks again to Decio and his staff for being so kind and helpful. 🤗

Villa Carla is a lovely peaceful choice, especially for families who want quiet. It’s surrounded by greenery, has free parking, and is just one kilometer from the sea. The owners were so kind and helpful, they made us feel at home and saved our vacation. Highly recommend.

Villa Paola had a lovely garden, an outdoor shower, and private parking, and the location was reasonably convenient. But you’ll need a car, and the nearby beaches were nice without being anything special. Vieste center is about ten minutes away. Inside, the apartment was very poor. The kitchen had little equipment, and both sheets and towels cost extra, as did air conditioning. There was nothing provided, not even a small soap kit. For four people, the bathroom was tiny and didn’t even have a bidet. It smelled of sewage, perhaps because a drain had been blocked with paper. When I asked for a bed rail for my youngest child, they gave me filthy pillows, the only thing they had. I used chairs instead and just hoped he wouldn’t fall too many times. The shared areas didn’t look like the website photos at all. The children’s play area was abandoned and unusable. It wasn’t a terrible stay, but I wouldn’t recommend it or return.
