The southeast-facing balcony gave us a spectacular view every morning while we had coffee. The location worked really well too, close to smaller towns and Salerno but far enough away for peace and quiet, with wonderful views of the water below. Easy access to water taxis made visiting the Amalfi coast a joy. We originally booked four nights at Hotel Raito, but car rental problems in Salerno meant we extended to six, which gave us a good feel for the place. Service was exceptional. Sharon at reception was especially helpful, sharing useful ideas for sights and activities nearby and the easiest ways to reach them. She also managed to fulfill a challenging request, which delighted and surprised us. The restaurant and bar staff were professional and helpful throughout.

The location and breathtaking views are incredible, but the people working here are what made the holiday special. My husband and I spent 14 nights at Hotel Raito in early September, and it was a very special break. Everyone on staff went above and beyond to help us have the best experience. Carmelo, Alessia, Brigitta, and the rest of the front of house team were fabulous, and housekeeping did a fantastic job. Franco was attentive and hardworking at breakfast and dinner, always making sure we were looked after. The young men at the pool bar were courteous and took great care of us. Domenico deserves a mention too. He’s a true professional, and we always looked forward to seeing him at the hotel bar in the evenings. We had some great conversations and drinks. Grazie Domenico! Grazie a tutti! Baci, Patrizia.

Carmelo was what made our stay perfect. He’s the best host in Italy! The hotel was amazing in every way, with delicious breakfasts each morning, clean, spacious rooms, and lovely balconies. Ernesto made the shuttle service safe, quick, and fun.

We left feeling relaxed and inspired, and already planning a return. The food was incredible, fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The rooms, pool, and every other detail felt perfect. The hotel is stunning, well cared for, and has luxurious facilities with breathtaking views. Carmello and the team welcomed us warmly from the moment we arrived. They made us feel like family with their genuine care and wonderful service. An unforgettable Amalfi Coast stay, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a special trip.

I spent my honeymoon here and would highly recommend it for a couple’s holiday. The view over the Salerno was breathtaking, and breakfast was delicious. They also have a shuttle that takes guests to Vetri-Sul-Mare.
