The homemade breakfast was a real highlight, and they were very thoughtful about food intolerances and special requests. The management also gave us helpful suggestions for places to visit and eat away from the hotel. We came with my family and found the grounds welcoming and well kept, with a well-cared-for feel inside too. Our room had everything we needed. I’d happily come back, and this quaint hotel is well worth a stop when passing through Ferrara.

The hosts were so friendly and did their best to make us comfortable. We especially enjoyed the generous sweet and savory breakfast, particularly the homemade cakes. The hotel is family-run, clean, and comfortable, and the hygiene standards were well respected. It’s in a very quiet countryside setting with free parking right next to the hotel. There isn’t much of interest close by, but it makes a good base for visiting Ferrara.

We’re already looking forward to another stay at Hotel Antico Casale. The mother and daughter who run it are kind and attentive, and you can tell they care about the details. It’s clean and cozy, and we’d definitely recommend it.
