B&B A due passi dal Castello

The lady who welcomed us was so caring with me and our two children, it felt like she was looking after family. She even made sure our little dogs were comfortable, setting aside a cool basement space for them and checking in on them now and then. That really touched us. The house is ancient, and you feel transported to another time as soon as you walk in. Old paintings and decrees, family stories, and the atmosphere in each room all make it feel full of history. The lady told us about her family and the house with such warmth and passion that I could have listened for hours. Everything was clean and well kept, with little corners that make you want to pause and take it all in. Staying at the B&B A due passi dal Castello was an experience we’ll remember for a long time. It felt like much more than a B&B, and we’ll definitely return.

The lady running the B&B was incredibly kind and professional, and made herself available right away. She welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home, even though we’d only just arrived. We had our two dogs with us, and they stayed in a cool basement room with a little garden, which seemed like dog bliss. The building dates from the 16th century and has kept so much of its old character. Walking inside felt like stepping into a medieval museum, and we went to sleep imagining ladies and knights from the past. A B&B just steps from the Castle really does feel like a time machine. We highly recommend it and will definitely be back!

We’ve been coming back for years whenever we’re in the Tuscia Viterbese area. Maresa has always been wonderful and treated us like real princesses, with the castle just steps away. Cleanliness, comfort, and hospitality are all at the highest level.
