The garden was a real treat, with green grass, palms, olive trees and a small pool, and the whole place felt calm and quiet. We came as a family of five with three teenagers, and found a lovely, reasonably priced apartment in Cursi last August. Ours was the largest of the four: a double bed and sofa bed in the living area, another large bed in a separate room, plus a kitchen, shower bathroom and air conditioning. Marco takes care of bookings and other formalities, and keeps the pool clean and the garden tidy every day. The owners live in one of the apartments and were super friendly. The “papa” loves telling stories about travelling around Europe in his caravan. I don't speak Italian, but somehow understood everything. Cursi is a small village with little to do, though nearby villages have plenty of restaurants serving delicious Italian food. The location is central for exploring Salento: Otranto's beach is about a 25-minute drive, Lecce around 30 minutes and Gallipoli about 50. The apartment and the whole property were very clean. Thanks, Marco and papa, for looking after us. Mamma mia, bella Italia :)

Marco was always around when we needed something and was so kind. The apartment was spacious, cozy and really clean, and the pool was fantastic, with a shallow level where the kids could play safely. We had an amazing stay. Definitely recommend it!

We spent three weeks here while our sons competed at Kartodromo La Conca. The gated, private grounds were peaceful and immaculate, and the pool was just as well kept. Inside, the apartments had modern furnishings and full kitchens. Having a washer in our unit was a nice extra. The stay went beyond what we expected, and we'll come back for our next race at La Conca.

The owners were welcoming, kind and willing to accommodate our requests. The house itself is very well maintained, has everything needed, and is conveniently close to Cursi and other villages, with both the Ionian and Adriatic Seas within easy reach. Still, as a group of friends, we didn't feel fully at ease or alone. The owners live in nearby apartments in the same house, and we often felt watched and accountable to them. We were also told by the booking agent that the house would be exclusively ours, but later found out some equipment wasn't available. The pool area is lovely, though the owner's children being there made it hard to enjoy it in privacy and peace. Despite those issues, we had a positive experience overall.
