My train was delayed by more than 200 minutes, so I reached the property after its midnight check-in cutoff. I’d told them I would be late, but they wouldn’t wait and cancelled the reservation I’d already paid for. Since it was non-refundable within the month before the stay, B&B Smeralda didn’t return the money. I ended up booking somewhere else in the middle of the night. I’d avoid this place.

Great price and right by the ferry. Thanks, see you again soon!

Close to the train station, and really good value for the price.

Lovely, clean interior. It was a little tricky to find, though.

The owners were kind and helpful, and made me feel at home straight away. The B&B is well placed for both the train station and Villa San Giovanni’s hydrofoil port. My room was bright, clean, and had the comforts I needed to relax. The property itself is welcoming and carefully looked after, and breakfast was excellent.
