B&B Casa Dolce Casa

We found the house quiet and relaxing, set in the Lunigiana countryside. The rooms are roomy, and the whole place has turn-of-the-century furnishings and style, kept up with a lot of care and taste. Breakfast was excellent: homemade jam, freshly squeezed juice, coffee, and more. Maria Vittoria also surprised us with amor, a typical Pontremoli dessert made with wafers. It's a true home, with welcoming spaces created by the owners. Clean rooms, a peaceful location, great breakfast, and friendly staff. Highly recommended.

A good choice if you're after somewhere clean and relaxing to stay. The people here are very friendly and welcoming.

The only real snag was the narrow entrance road to the parking, especially if someone had already parked there. Otherwise, this was a peaceful base in green, quiet Lunigiana, and easy to reach. From here you can get to festivals, castles, medieval fortifications, local fairs, or Villafranca station in just a few minutes. Trains there go to the five Ligurian lands and historic Tuscan cities. Our hosts were friendly, chatty, and had that true Lunigiana spirit. The room was so spacious that although there were two of us, four more could have fit, and we didn't even use half of it. Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday.

We stayed with Maria Vittoria on June 15th and 16th, just my husband and me. The room was spacious and comfortable, and her kindness made the short visit even nicer. Breakfasts were generous and delicious. Her homemade jam was excellent, and the homemade Amor biscuits were a lovely surprise. We also enjoyed the organic honey her son makes. It's a peaceful place we'll always remember fondly.
