Granpanorama Hotel StephansHof

The hotel newspaper at breakfast had outing ideas and events the hotel arranged, which families could sign up for. We loved our time at StephansHof. The patio was full of flowers and greenery, with a lovely view, and there are indoor and outdoor pools plus a sauna. We didn't have enough time to try the spa, though we would have liked to. Our terrace looked out over the Dolomite hillsides, and the rooms were updated and very comfortable. Breakfast and lunch were fresh, generous spreads. Dinner came as four courses of typical Tyrolean dishes in a beautiful dining room, and every meal was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. We'd highly recommend it.

The hotel itself is really nice, and the people working there were kind. The location was good too, which makes the dinner and water charges such a shame. We paid around 500€ per night for half-board, so we expected a decent dinner. Instead, across our four nights, the same ingredients from breakfast or the afternoon buffet kept turning up at dinner. It was so obvious they were cooking from leftovers. I don't mind reusing food, I do it at home, but that felt like an 8€ plate at a trattoria, not dinner at a 500€-a-night hotel. They also charged an extra 4,50€ for tap water, which is an absolute joke. The room was nice and cozy, the hotel was clean and organized, and the staff were really friendly. I'd give those parts four stars, but dinner was a real disappointment.

We loved the newspaper they brought to our breakfast table each morning, and every meal was delicious. StephansHof is clean, well organized and in great condition, with care put into the details. We had an absolutely amazing stay and recommend it 100%!

The food was all perfect, and the wellness area was great. The staff were lovely people too. Not every single thing was top level, but the whole team and everything around it gave us what we needed. A very pleasant place, and I'd recommend the hotel. All the best to you!
