The apartment is in Villanova Monteleone, a pretty mountain village about 23 km from Alghero. It’s clean, with a comfortable bed in the bedroom, a spacious kitchen, a new TV, a good bathroom, and electric heating. There’s no parking on site, but you can park nearby. In the village you’ll find several pizzerias and bars, plus a gas station. Bosa and Alghero are roughly halfway between the two villages. Sassari and Porto Torres are also nearby if you want to take your car on the ferry.

Staying in the mountains is a great way to explore more of Sardinia. This is great accommodation, and I recommend it.

A nice apartment for two, though it’s too spartan for my taste.

The place looked just like the pictures, and Ida gave us a very warm welcome.
