Exil di nuovo

We spent two wonderful weeks at Exil di Nuovo and I wish we could have stayed forever. Giovanni, Angelo, and the whole Exil family were amazing; I miss them terribly now that I’m back in the USA. Our lovely, very clean room had air conditioning, comfortable beds, WiFi, a mini fridge, and a balcony. The food was spectacular, fresh, and beautifully presented. I had some of the best meals of my life there, from the simple but amazing pasta with garlic sauce and chili oil to a roasted chicken dish with incredible depth of flavor. The hotel grounds were beautifully cared for, full of fruit, herbs, and flowers. The pool and lounge chairs made for a perfect relaxing afternoon, and I loved sitting in the shade of the grape vines and olive tree. Giovanni taught me that olive harvesting season is in October, so I’m sad I’ll miss it. The beach and pleasant shops are a short walk away. My daughter had a wonderful time as a student at the Fini Dance Studio, just a block away, during the Summer Dance Festival. We felt truly blessed to visit Villapiana and stay at the most welcoming place we’ve ever been. I fervently hope to return someday. Much love to our friends at Exil and in Villapiana!

The food is wonderful, and I highly recommend it. I’m gluten-free, and Angelo was so helpful and accommodating. Thanks so much, and I hope to come back soon!
