Hotel Sa Cralla

Wow, we had an amazing two-night stay in Villasimius.

A small, pleasant hotel. It’s peaceful, and the owners are kind and helpful.

We found the place a little hard to locate because it’s on a dead-end street, and Google Maps didn’t give the best directions. Calling them, as we did, made it easy to get there. That’s one reason it earned five stars, along with the location. Hotel Sa Cralla is a lovely little spot right in the heart of Villasimius, just steps from the main street and its many shops and restaurants. Carlo at reception was very helpful, carefully suggesting things to see and explaining what was nearby. There’s a small terrace where you can relax and hang your swimsuits and towels, which is a clever touch. Our room smelled wonderful and was spotless, one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in. The air conditioning didn’t blow directly onto the bed, so the room stayed comfortable. It had a TV, herbal teas and a fridge. Breakfast comes in two options, €5 or €10, with homemade produce. For the area, the price felt very reasonable. Check-in is at 3:30 PM and check-out at 10:30 AM, and you can leave your luggage safely. Clearly a much-loved little place. Highly recommended, and well done!

Carlo welcomed us with useful tips about transport, beaches, restaurants and busy times. That helped, since parking is limited and August is peak season. The hotel sits behind the main square in Villasimius, so it’s central but very quiet. Our room was spacious and had a mini fridge, plus all the bathroom essentials and linens. The Italian breakfast was good value compared with a traditional café, especially the fabulous homemade cakes. Highly recommended.
