Hotel Andalo

The food was solid and the rooms were quite okay. The biggest plus is the location near the ski lift. There were too many annoying kids.

The restaurant serves great meals, and the rooms were cleaned daily. The location near the ski lift is great, and little kids stay free, though they don’t get a proper bed, just a folding armchair instead of a bunk bed. The kids’ program was a plus, but it ran almost at night and was only in Italian. The bunk bed had no effective fall protection, so I woke up whenever the kids moved to check they hadn’t fallen. There was no entry from the parking area and no elevator from there, only from the garage. A strange box on the wall ticked several times at night, and more often in the morning. You can hear every movement in the hallway. Unfortunately, guests changed almost every day, and by bad luck the cleaning lady picked up things opposite our room early every morning. There was no dryer for ski boots. The toilet flush used a huge amount of water and still wasn’t very effective. Most people on the street in Italy can speak English, but at the hotel only two-thirds of the receptionists could, and nobody else.

The food was good, both breakfast and dinner, but the room was really small.

A very pleasant stay for families with kids.
