Mariposas

After several exhausting days of intense work, arriving at Hotel Mariposas felt like heaven. We were welcomed with a drink on the terrace overlooking the pool, and the reception staff were attentive. The surroundings are beautiful, and the atmosphere was so positive and relaxing. Breakfast was excellent too. It's a 15-minute walk into town and about 10 minutes to the most stunning beach. We had a fabulous stay, and I hope to come back. Thanks for a wonderful time.

The sea is only 7 minutes away, and the hotel pool was always clean. A gardener looked after the beautiful grounds every day, and the whole place feels lovingly run. Breakfast was good, and the staff were consistently friendly. Ivan deserves a special mention for being attentive and giving us helpful tips. We can't wait to return. Thanks for everything!

After finding that our Airbnb wasn't as described, we urgently needed somewhere else to stay. Hotel Mariposas took us in and treated us like family. The resort was impeccable, and the beautiful beach was just a five-minute walk away. Highly recommend, I'd give them a hundred stars!

We flew into Cagliari and took a taxi to the hotel, about an hour's drive. We were happy relaxing at the hotel and Simius beach, so we didn't need a car. The beach is a short walk away, with clear water, white sand, and a marine protection area that's great for snorkelling. The hotel can arrange daily sunbeds and an umbrella at a reasonable price. This was our second stay at Hotel Mariposas, and we hope to return. The staff were lovely, helpful, and professional throughout, and the hotel is well run with a calm, relaxing feel. The gardens and pool area are exceptionally pretty, full of flowers and beautifully kept. Our superior double was immaculate, comfortable, and stylish, with its own terrace overlooking the garden and pool. We had lunch at the hotel most days, and it was delicious and highly recommended. Breakfast is included, with a good buffet selection. There's a bar open until about 11pm, but no dinner service. That wasn't a problem, since Villasimius is about a 15-minute walk away and has plenty of restaurants.
