Residence Le Fontane

We spent two weeks here as a family of four, and the room had plenty of space and worked well for us. The residence is kept spotless, with staff working hard to keep everything tidy. Even the pool is exceptionally clean. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and shops and the high street were easy to get to. Free bike hire was the best part for us. We rode every day to the wonderful nearby beaches, all less than 20 minutes away by bike, and got to see so much during our stay.

We stayed nine days in Villasimius, Sardinia, and found plenty to like. The staff were super nice, and the pool is beautiful, with a little bar for drinks. There are two grocery stores nearby, and a cute street with something going on each night is just a 5-10 minute walk away. Several beaches are about a 7-10 minute drive. There’s abundant free parking, plus a little on-site coffee shop for a morning coffee and croissant. Our small apartment had ample room for four, a fridge, stove and other kitchen essentials. The rooms were comfortable, and having a washing machine was a plus. I’d recommend it. Thank you!!!

My arrival was a mess. The residence closes at 8 pm, but I got there around 9 and couldn’t reach the owner. I spent over an hour trying to contact him. Then, at check-in, I was told about extra fees on top of what I’d already paid. I hadn’t expected to pay another €290 for six nights. We also weren’t entitled to cleaning or fresh towels during our stay.

There are three supermarkets next door, which is really handy. The place is very well maintained, and the staff are lovely and extremely caring. The pool has a great view, the aperitivo is great too, and it’s good value for money. One thing to keep in mind: with apartment rentals in Italy, you usually pay extra at check-in for towels, bedding and cleaning, so check your booking carefully. Here, we paid for cleaning, towels and the standard city tax. Bedding was included.
