We spent a week in the lovely Italian sunshine in October, and this hotel was every bit as good as advertised. Our hosts were genuinely warm and welcoming. It has a real family feel, and everyone cares about making sure guests have a flawless stay. The breakfast was great, served in a beautiful room by the pool. The tropical atmosphere looks just like it does in the hotel photos. The location is perfect too. You can park just a few metres along the road, then stroll about 800 metres to a beautiful beach or head the other way into the village. There are plenty of restaurants, lots of bars, a couple of supermarkets, a pharmacy and plenty of gelato outlets. I’d recommend having a car, since there are some breathtaking coastal roads with outstanding views. If you’re looking for a base in southern Sardinia, Hotel Su Sergenti is perfect. Thanks to the team for a wonderful stay in your beautiful hotel.

Our last few days in Sardegna couldn’t have been spent in a better way. The rooms were pristine, and the hotel was clean, organized, and just as advertised. Everyone on staff was kind and went out of their way to help.

The care from the staff made this stay: Philippe at the restaurant, Mikayela at the bar, and the other bar girl kept checking that we were doing well and made things more enjoyable. The cleaning staff were just as lovely, clearly taking pride in the details and always smiling. It’s a beautiful hotel, and I’d stay here again without hesitation if I’m back in Villasimius.

Hotel Su Sergenti was just right for the quiet week my husband and I wanted. We especially liked its spot between the town centre and the beach, and the garden and pool were lovely for a break. The place is very clean and clearly cared for. It’s family owned, and that attention to standards and guests really came through. I’d rate the experience four stars rather than three, and would happily recommend it.

We paid about 500€ for three nights, so the extra charges felt odd. Pool towels cost extra, and beach sunbeds were 20-30€ a day. Neither of these additional prices was mentioned when booking through booking.com, and it seems like a lot on top of a good nightly rate, especially for services connected to the hotel. Still, the staff were hospitable, the garden had a nice atmosphere, and our room was clean. Those are the reasons I’m giving it three stars.
