Cala Caterina Bay

The location in Villasimius is one of the best, with a beautiful sunset spot. Our comfort rooms were newly equipped and nice, though a bit small. The poolside bar service could be more proactive for a hotel of this rank. In August, during high season, the property was effectively taken over by a horde of children with no limits, like at a regular tourist village. That was a real liability and not acceptable.

The garden was lush and beautifully maintained, with direct access to a crystal-clear beach. The design and attentive service gave the place a quiet sense of luxury, and we enjoyed it so much we barely wanted to leave. Each evening, the restaurant’s themed set menu was a treat, and the vongole pasta at lunch was among the best we’ve had. We also enjoyed peaceful, scenic morning runs and were lucky to spot flamingos nearby. The service was kind and focused on guests. One young woman with dark hair in a long bob really stood out for her professionalism, dedication, and how she helped colleagues while staying attentive and welcoming. One of our favorite hotels. It’s a small boutique hotel that works well for a quiet, relaxing break. The place feels brand new and was spotless, with excellent air-conditioning and a carefully considered design that creates a peaceful atmosphere. The beach right in front is small, and unfortunately the sea was dirty when I arrived. Porto Giunco Beach, with its crystal-clear water, is a pleasant 25-minute walk away. Santo Stefano Beach is also nearby and worth exploring. A comfortable, clean, well-designed stay if you don’t mind walking a little to reach the best beaches.

The private beach was a lovely place to relax in the sun, and the hotel was wonderfully quiet. A path to the sea runs beneath big pine trees that offer fresh air and shade. The setting between greenery and sparkling water is stunning. Our room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable, luxurious feel. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the restaurant served delicious local and international food. A fantastic place to unwind and enjoy a memorable holiday.
