The apartment was spacious and quiet, with everything we needed. We traveled with our 2-year-old child, and the crib was very good. There’s a convenient kitchen and a laundry room, and the place was very clean throughout. The well maintained grounds, clean pool area, and clean kids playroom were lovely, as was the view from the pool. We initially liked that there were only 3 rental apartments on the property, and hoped that meant a quiet stay. The main downside is that one apartment is 150 sqm and can hold up to 12 people. It seems the owners haven’t clearly decided whether this is meant for families, couples, or groups of friends. During our four days there, we had to put up with the uncontrollable behavior of guests from Toulouse FC fans for two days. The pool is only open from 09:00 to 19:00, which didn’t suit us because our day starts early. One day we couldn’t get into the pool area at all because guests from the large apartment had taken all the sunbeds, including ours, and thrown a "pool party". People were drunk, floating around on inflatables like crazy, and no one seemed to control it. The 09:00 to 19:00 restriction clearly wasn’t an issue for the party. We came looking for a quiet Tuscan countryside vacation, not Ibiza. If pool parties or FC fans are tolerated, then don’t offer the crib service. We’ll understand that families with children simply aren’t welcome. We left with mixed feelings. We’d love to return, but are worried about having to share the place again with similarly inconsiderate guests. We highly recommend it, but can’t guarantee it will be peaceful.
