We stayed two nights at Antica Bottega di Vinci through Booking.com, from 8 to 10 June 2024. It was last year, and even though this review is late, we really wanted other German travellers and visitors to know about this lovely place. The B&B is tucked quietly among olive trees, with a view toward what is probably Leonardo Da Vinci’s birthplace. The panorama is wonderful, and we could park right outside our patio door. It’s furnished with so much care that you feel at home visiting friends.

I’ll remember this stay as one of my loveliest memories from Tuscany. Rafaela was so caring and kind, the food was delicious, and the room and furniture were beautiful. It’s a perfect place to relax, and I strongly recommend staying here.

The rooms are lovely, and so is the breakfast. The owner is very kind and happy to share all the information you need. It’s close to Leonardo’s native house, surrounded by a skyline of olive trees.

Raffaella welcomed us with great kindness, even though we gave her only a few hours’ notice. The property is lovely, nestled among olive groves in the Vinci countryside, just steps from the birthplace of the great "Leonardo." Breakfast the next morning was generous, with coffee, cappuccino, juice, yogurt and homemade ciambella cake. The jams, biscuits and other treats are homemade too. Our room was tastefully furnished, with careful details that brought the great "Leonardo" to mind. Even the wardrobe hangers were dressed with personalized fabric, lace and embroidery. The double bed was comfortable, and from the room’s balcony you can step onto a large terrace and take in the view.
