The family who owns this place gave us such a warm welcome, and I really appreciated how clean everything was. It feels like a smaller mom-and-pop place, almost like a family has invited you into their home. The property is a little dated, but the quiet, quaint setting made up for the walk to the beach strip. There’s a pool to cool off in before heading down to the lovely beach and beach bars Scoglitti has to offer.

It may be on the cheaper side, but I couldn’t finish the food. The Norma Pasta smelled like a gas stove, and the meat in the menu we ordered was kind of rubbery. I’d say the fish menu is a better choice.

The owners are kind and really go out of their way to help. The rooms are huge, and there’s a nice pool area to enjoy. It’s not too far from the porto.

Everything about this was a terrible experience. They asked us to pay before taking us to the room, which I’d never encountered before. The lobby was shut, so we had to come and go through a secondary entrance. The room was awful: there was a cockroach and several other insects in the bathroom, a horrible smell, and a broken shower stall with water leaking from the shower tray. The door wouldn’t close. Air from the room’s air conditioning blew right over the double bed, the bedside tables were covered in cobwebs, and the refrigerator vibrated. The pillows were very high and hard, everything was dusty, and the walls had cracks and damp. Breakfast was just a few croissants and a donut, with everything else wrapped. There was no savory breakfast at all. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED
