Our review was deleted, which is absurd. It seems easier to promote properties and agencies that are completely below standard than to make a disappointing stay known. We booked this “residence” for 10 people, but were given two apartments with sleeping space for only 8. Building D is advertised as a three-bedroom apartment, but it isn't. The owner seemed confused, then had to give in after the agency sent him voice messages and provide a sofa bed that was probably at least 20 years old. Check TripAdvisor or Booking.com and you'll see other unlucky guests have ended up with that same fateful sofa. We were also asked to pay extra for water for laundry because Scoglitti's municipality repeatedly cuts off the supply. That's like Enel cutting the electricity and then making us pay for a generator, even though everything was supposed to be included. The rooms are run down, the showers in the bathrooms are completely broken, and the air conditioning doesn't work properly. Maybe they're still waiting for someone to “blow” into a nonexistent pipe and clear the dirt that's built up over years without cleaning. The listing says the rooms are fully air-conditioned, but only the unit upstairs worked. The other two didn't. Ants and lizards were our roommates, and halfway through the stay the sewer system broke down. It was a terrible experience. I hope the owner does a LOT of maintenance and the agency does its job. Otherwise, they should close the place so people don't pay for a ghost residence.
