It's a lovely old hotel, though I think the food could use a little improvement.

The staff were amazing, and I would happily come back to Da Carlo. My room was on the small side, but it had a huge, comfortable bed, air-conditioning, a perfect bathroom, and a safe. The one drawback was the TV: its USB port sits right in front of the hinge, so watching films from a USB drive was impossible. Breakfast was very good, with plenty for everyone, and there’s a terrace to enjoy in the summer evenings. The hotel also provides free water in the first-floor hallway and free bicycles from its garage. Wi-Fi was good enough, better than at other hotels I've stayed in.

The view from my room was wonderful. The older woman and the young man were so gentle and happy to help with whatever I needed.

The staff are very kind and helpful. Some don't speak English, but they still make an effort to understand what you need.
