Cowboys Guest Ranch

The live band was really good, and I enjoyed the restaurant’s design. The service, though, was so bad that I won’t be coming back. A waitress first came by after five minutes, when we weren’t ready to order, then didn’t return for 45 minutes. We couldn’t even get water. Asking once or twice for her to come back made no difference, and when she finally did, there wasn’t even an apology. They brought our drinks and asked us to pay before the food arrived. I’m usually fine paying first, but at that point I wasn’t sure we’d get our meal. When it came, a different waitress couldn’t tell which burger was which, so we had to open them up and check. She said, quite rudely, that she didn’t know and couldn’t see because it was dark. Our table really was far from the lights. She walked away instead of sorting it out. The food was okay, but that didn’t make up for the experience. I wouldn’t recommend the place unless they do something about the service.

I’ve been coming here for almost 30 years, and it’s always been a satisfying visit. It feels like a real corner of America, with rodeo shows, a theme park, a farm, a saloon with live music, an American restaurant, and a hotel. It’s a place you shouldn’t miss.

Kids are running around among the animals and lovely attractions. The place is well organized and pretty good. Definitely worth seeing.
