Emmy - Dolomites Family Resort

The pool was beautiful, and the kids loved it. After days spent biking, hiking, and climbing with our adventure group, it was also nice to unwind in the spotless, modern spa area. My daughter was worn out one evening, and the restaurant staff quickly brought a simple, tasty meal up to our room. Breakfast was a full, delicious buffet, and we had a great dinner on the terrace overlooking the village. Our room was gorgeous and comfortable, with incredible views. Hotel Emmy is ideally placed for hikes and walks around town, and the staff were so helpful. My daughter and I had a flawless stay, and I’d absolutely return to Hotel Emmy.

We’ve had our best holiday in years here and will definitely come back. The staff, location, views, food, rooms, and things for children were all wonderful. Spacious rooms made travelling with small kids much easier. We took several lovely walks right from the hotel, including one to gorgeous Lago di Fie, and rode the cable car from Seis Am Schlern for a different perspective on the mountains. They can serve dinner to the kids earlier, which gave us a chance to enjoy a romantic evening too.

We had two amazing days here. The hotel sits in beautiful nature, with no big hotels nearby, so it didn’t feel like being swept up in a big tourist wave. It’s easy to find, though the road after the highway is narrow and scenic. The hotel isn’t right in the town centre, and there’s a free, roomy underground garage. The place is modern and very well kept. Our room had a lovely balcony looking over town. We didn’t get to try the spa, but the pools were good, especially the kids’ pool. It’s a great spot with children: there are indoor and outdoor play areas and pools, plus nearby hikes suitable for kids and the right sort of strollers. The staff across reception, restaurant, and housekeeping were warm, friendly, and helpful. Half board makes sense since there aren’t many food options nearby. Dinner was delicious, with usually two choices for each course, such as meat or fish, soup or salad. The portions are small, though, especially if you’ve spent all day biking or hiking. It wasn’t a major issue, as there were salads and other things to top up on at the buffet. The wine selection was good but a little pricey. There’s a kids’ menu at the restaurant.
