We visited again in October 2025 and had another perfect stay at Podere Cortilla. It has a genuine Tuscan feel, with quiet surroundings and wine areas and authentic cities within reach. The Tuscan architecture gives the place real character, while the individual apartments combine original features with modern facilities and are laid out well. The pool is kept clean and maintained, with its own area. Cars are parked in a designated carport close by but out of sight. Charging an electric vehicle there was fairly simple and inexpensive, a big plus if you’re driving one. Claudia and Gregor are a lovely host couple, and the facilities make it easy to relax and enjoy your holiday.

The rooms are huge, and the pool is large and set away from noisy roads among olive trees. It’s a secluded, very nice place for a holiday. The owners are an older German couple who live there, and I didn’t find them very friendly or sociable, so if you’re after Italian hospitality, this may not be the place for you. If that doesn’t bother you, it’s a little gem.

What stood out most was the warm, attentive welcome from the hosts. We felt at ease from the moment we arrived. Podere Cortilla is beautifully quiet but still central enough to explore Tuscany in every direction. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay, and the tasteful, high-quality designer furniture gave the place a special atmosphere. It’s somewhere to unwind, enjoy yourself, and want to come back to. Highly recommended!

Thank you, Emma, Claudia & Gregor, and of course Nelli! A chance meeting somehow turned into a holiday with friends, and it was simply perfect, 1000/10. The place has so much care in the details that you arrive and immediately want to stay forever. The accommodations feel exclusive and stylish, but also warm and welcoming, easily 5-star deluxe. There’s a pool looking out over endless olive groves, with such a peaceful, unreal atmosphere. And when Claudia’s cooking, don’t make other plans! Thank you 💚🤍❤️

The host couple were easy to deal with, very friendly, and helpful. Over the years, they’ve lovingly restored the property and furnished it with beautiful pieces and accessories. Set among olive groves and nature, Podere Cortilla is wonderfully quiet, a great place to relax or get creative. You can also buy homemade olive oil and wine on site.
